La Manga Club - The Region
The La Manga Club resort is set in 1500 acres on the Costa Calida "The Warm Coast", an unspoilt corner of Southern Spain, between the Costa Blanca and Costa Almeria and east of the Costa del Sol. Nearby the La Manga Strip is a narrow strip of land dividing the Mar Menor sea with the Mediterranean sea. Nearby there are many villages and towns including the fishing village of Cabo De Palos, a traditional fishing harbour with many restaurants and a Sunday Market. Cartagena and Murcia are both excellent places to visit. Cartagena is an ancient port and features hypermarkets, restaurants, shops. Murcia is the capital of the region and is also well worth a visit for it's history and great shopping. Car hire is recommended during your stay at La Manga Club.
